Teofilo Matias Huablocho Perez

Student of the San Martín de Porras University – Postgraduate of the Faculty of Human Medicine, Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru – Postgraduate Unit. Electronic Engineer graduated with the thesis: technical standards for preventive maintenance of Biomedical equipment at Ricardo Palma University. Diploma in Metrology in testing and calibration laboratories in health establishments at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Registered expert of the Center for Analysis and Conflict Resolution of the PUCP and member of the international IEEE and the EMBS Biomedical Engineering. Roberto Ayala Perdomo

Graduated from the Biomedical Engineering degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana A.C., with more than 30 years of experience mainly in the field of clinical engineering. Certified in Clinical Engineering by the International Certification Committee. He served as Head of Biomedical Engineering at Toluca Medical Center, Engineering Manager at Hospital Angeles Lomas and Technological Development Manager at Grupo Angeles Health Services Corporation. Director of Biomedical Engineering for nine years and in charge of the office of the General Directorate at the National Center for Technological Excellence in Health, of the Federal Ministry of Health.

Rubén Carlos Acevedo

Dr. Rubén C. Acevedo graduated as a Bioengineer from the National University of Entre Ríos (Argentina). Subsequently, he obtained his Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Mexico) and then his Doctorate degree in Engineering (Signals, Systems and Computational Intelligence mention) from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (Argentina). He was Secretary of Research and Postgraduate Studies and Director of the Master's Program in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Entre Ríos. He is currently Professor with exclusive dedication in the areas of Signals and Systems and Artificial Intelligence, Director of the Center for Rehabilitation Engineering and Neuromuscular and Sensory Research of the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Entre Ríos, and Director of the Doctorate in Engineering of the University Entre Rios National.

Martha Zequera

PhD from Strathclyde University in Biomedical Engineering, and Master of Dundee University. Specialist in biomechanics and diabetic foot issues. Currently, a teacher full time from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in the Engineering career Electronics. Member of IFMBE and CORAL. She is currently the academic coordinator and creator of the Summer School program carried out for 5 consecutive years that summons young people from all over Latin America.

Karla Albarran

Electrical Engineer graduated from UNAM with a postgraduate degree in design of transmission lines and electrical substations. With more than 8 years working in the Mexican electricity sector, he currently works in an important renewable energy company, in the engineering and construction area, and has extensive experience in the interconnection of renewable plants. Together with experts from different areas, it provides technical advice for the development, execution and interconnection of power plants. He has coordinated more than fifteen transmission line projects in the Mexican Republic. Karla is also a member of MERM.

Jelitza Ceballos

Electrical Engineer from the National University of San Agustín (UNSA, Arequipa – Peru). Master in Electrical Energy Systems from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, Brazil). Diploma in Strategic Planning of the Electricity Subsector (UNI-CARELEC). I have worked as an Operation Programming Analyst and Specialist, and currently as Substation Operation Coordinator at Red de Energía del Perú S.A.

Mallory Suárez Medina

Specialist in Energy Transmission and Distribution Systems from the Universidad Pontifica Bolivariana and Master in Business Administration from Westfield Business School. I am currently Coordinator of the Transmission Line Management Team at ISA INTERCOLOMBIA, a subsidiary company of the ISA Group, and I have more than 9 years of experience in the area of ​​maintenance management. My main experience has been related to the diagnosis of the condition of assets, technical evaluation, definition of maintenance plans, continuous improvement, development of business cases and process innovation.

Maria del Socorro Gómez Pérez

Line Analyst at ISA INTERCOLOMBIA S.A. E.S.P. (10 years experience). Electrical Engineer and Master in Electrical Engineering from the Technological University of Pereira. Specialist in Analytics from the National University of Colombia. With more than 9 years of experience dedicated to Electrical Power Systems and the new energy trends that are revolutionizing conventional electrical and energy systems such as large-scale storage systems and Smart Grids. I bet on digital transformation as the main lever of the fourth industrial revolution.

Karina Huanqui De la Cruz

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Callao (UNAC), with a Specialization Diploma in Electricity Regulation from the ESAN University and a specialized course in Business Development in Electrical Transmission of the College of Engineers of Peru. I have worked as a Young Professional in Regulation at ISA REP and I currently work as a Professional in Development of the Operation and Maintenance Management at ISA REP, being part of the ISA Seedbeds Program.

Eunice Villicaña, PhD.

 Doctor in Technology, Diversification, Quality and Energy Saving from the University of Oviedo – Spain- Master in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency from the University Castilla la Mancha Campus Albacete, Spain.  Ten years of experience in university teaching.  With specialized studies in solar energy, renewable energy and energy efficiency.  She has work experience as a full-time tenured research professor at the Universidad Tecnologíca del Centro de Veracruz.  She obtained the Fluor award in Spain.

Dr. Elmer Ramirez 

Doctor in Industrial Engineering, Master in Management and Energy Audit in the Company from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.  Mechanical Electrical Engineer.  Specialist in Renewable Energies and Energy Audits in the Industry;  with extensive experience in the productive sectors, in addition to conducting International accreditations for Engineering programs granted by international agencies such as ASSIN from Germany and ABET from the United States.  Author of the book Programmable Logic Controllers, an alternative to modern automation, published by CONCYTEC.  He has conducted research that leads to improving the quality of life of people with low economic resources located in rural areas.  Author of technical articles and speaker at national and international events.

Dr. José Ramos

Doctor in Advanced Thermal Engineering and Energy Optimization from the University of Zaragoza.  Mechanical Engineer from the National University of Engineering (UNI).  He is Associate Editor of Distributed Generation & Alternative Journal.  He develops research in energy integration of processes, polygeneration systems (cogeneration and trigeneration) and combined cycle plants. He is currently a professor in the Department of Energy Engineering at UTEC.  Previous Work Experience: – University Researcher – Group of Thermal Engineering and Energy Systems, Spain – University Professor – Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú – Consultant in Energy Engineering/Optimization and Energy Management at CESEL Ingenieros S.A., Stora Enso Barcelona (Spain), Lalinde – Labarquilla, Architects and Associates (Spain).

David Vilca, Eng

Eng Electrical Engineer from the National University of Engineering.  Executive MBA Candidate – Incae Business School (from October 2013 to March 2015).  Postgraduate degree in Auditing and Energy Efficiency from the National University of Engineering (2002).  Energy Auditor Certificate.  He is a specialist in the development of technical Due Diligence for generation, transmission and distribution projects.  Likewise, in studies of regulation in distribution and generation, negotiation of energy contracts, energy efficiency and energy quality, analysis and design of harmonic filters.  He has served as a founding partner of M & D Consultores SRL.  Senior Supervisor at the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and at OSINERGMIN.  Likewise, he has participated as a Senior in Ernst & Young S. Romina Casadevall 

Is part of the scientific team at Grid Exponential, a science-based company builder that helps build and invest in high-impact scientific companies in Latin America. Its main function is the exploration of the Latin American scientific system to identify scientific projects and teams with high potential and then accompany them in the company building process. He studied a degree in Biotechnology and did a Doctorate in Biological Sciences. After a brief stint in the biotechnology industry, he worked in different areas in the Technology Transfer area at CONICET, Argentina.Voluntarily co-directs Pint of Science Argentina.

Christian Figueroa

Is an aerospace engineer, focused on the discipline of controls. He currently works for the Honeywell Aerospace company. His passion for airplanes has led him to achieve different achievements, including being selected as “Outstanding Engineer” for his department. Select a prize that only 3% of the company’s world population wins. In the IEEE he has served different roles, the most prominent being: Puerto Rico and Caribbean YP Section Chair (2018-2019) and Puerto Rico and Caribbean Section Chair (2020-2021). During the second, his work team managed to get the Puerto Rico and Caribbean Section to win the regional prize of “Outstanding Section Award 2020”. After this, he was commissioned to occupy the role of R9SAC Chair which, together with a team of committed volunteers, will be serving in 2022-2023. Christian is also IEEE- R9 Students Activities Committee Chair (R9 SAC Chair)

Christian Libaque

Researcher at the Research Center-CIUP, professor at the Academic Department of Engineering at Universidad del Pacífico. He is a Ph.D. and Master in Information Technology Management from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) (South Korea) and Telecommunications Engineer from the National University of Engineering. His research focuses on issues of technology adoption and diffusion, information privacy, policies against the digital divide, and technology user behavior. His works have been published in magazines such as Information & Management, Telecommunications Policy, Government Information Quarterly, Behavior and Information Technology, among others. He has been a technical advisor to the General Directorate of Telecommunications Authorizations of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. He has worked as an independent consultant on telecommunications issues.
